How I work

“I take the time to really understand my client’s needs, focusing on their objectives and taking a pragmatic approach to achieve the best results. Given the sensitivity of the issues in dispute, it is always satisfying to support my clients through the whole process.

Recent Experience

Child Arrangements

Successfully argued following a contested fact finding hearing that historic allegations against a client cannot outweigh the current nature of their relationship with the child when looking at the progression of contact.

Divorce Settlement

Negotiated on behalf of a client in respect of the separation of financial assets on divorce and successfully agreed a consent order to settle the matter without the need to proceed with costly contested financial remedy proceedings.

 Special Guardianship

Advised on guardianship options where the children could no longer be cared for by their parents and successfully acted to secure their placement with family members under a Special Guardianship Order, rather than being placed outside the family, with on going financial assistance and support from social services.
